7. Sizing, Fit, and Alterations
To ensure the best fit and minimize the need for exchanges, please adhere to the following sizing requirements and guidelines:
Accurate Measurements Required: The customer is solely responsible for providing accurate and current measurements (Chest/Bust, Waist, and Skirt Length/Height) upon booking. We provide a size chart for each item based on standard industry sizing, but it is the customer's responsibility to confirm their measurements align with the garment's specified size.
Ready-to-Wear (RTW) vs. Semi-Stitched:
Ready-to-Wear (RTW): These items have fixed measurements. Check the provided maximum and minimum adjustment range.
Semi-Stitched: The lehenga skirt is adjustable at the waist. However, the Choli/Blouse is pre-stitched and can generally only be adjusted within a standard range (e.g., up to 1-2 inches larger or smaller).
● Allowed Minor Alterations (Non-Permanent):
You are permitted to make minor, non-permanent adjustments to the fit, such as adding temporary loops or hooks, or taking in the choli/blouse using a loosely stitched seam (tacking) that can be easily and safely undone.
Prohibited Alterations: DO NOT permanently cut, glue, or use permanent fabric alteration methods.
● Consequence of Unapproved Alterations: If the lehenga is returned with any permanent alterations, cutting of fabric, or damage resulting from poorly executed temporary alterations, the fees outlined in Section 5 (Damage, Loss, and Irreparable Stains) will apply.
By proceeding with the rental, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Exchange and Return Policy.
